Secretariat

The Secretariat is composed of the Director and other staff members who shall have an agreed fixed contract of employment.

The Director

Responsible for smooth functioning of the Secretariat and reports to the EC and the President on implementation of the decision of the GA and EC.

The Secretariat

Responsible for the day-to-day administration of CCIVS, ensures liaison with the member organisations, direct the different services of the headquarters and assists member organisations in the fulfillment of any project or task which may be entrusted to them by the GA or the EC.

Linndgberg was born and raised in El Salvador until the age of 10. He then grew up in Los Angeles, California, where he lived for 13 years. He moved to Mexico, where he resided for 7 years to work in a non-profit organization dealing with the human rights of migrants. Later on in Mexico, he worked as an English teacher and as the Director of a non-profit organization dealing with international volunteering.

Always with the need to travel and broaden his horizons, he travelled to France to volunteer for a year. He now calls France his home and works in CCIVS with a multicultural team, always connected with people from around the world, which is an essential part of his life. His passion are photography, different cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds and walks of life, and exchanging with them ideas and experiences.
He hopes to dedicate his life working to spread ideas to better society, to promote values that bring about understanding and harmony.

Vicky Lovelock has almost two decades of hands-on experience leading international NGOs, dedicated to voluntary service and community impact worldwide. She began her journey in the IVS sector in 2003 as a volunteer, and witnessed first-hand the transformative power of volunteering on the lives of people. She is passionate about strategic planning, visioning, advocacy, and tackling challenges with a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach. Always seeking to connect local actions to global impact and fostering a deep connection to the natural world, Vicky co-founded La Lisière an associative forest school in the Perigord Vert, France, where international volunteers engage in activities that ensure children are connected to the world beyond their forest community.

Juliet Blanco is a Digital Communication Specialist, Sociology Professor and Bachelor, and Content Creator.From Argentina but currently living in Budapest, she has extensive experience working with foundations, NGOs, and third sector organisations, designing educational and communication programs that have a positive impact on communities.

As a copywriter and content creator, Julieta works as a freelancer, crafting engaging content for various creative projects.Julieta has also received recognition for her writing workshops and artistic projects, having won awards at prestigious cultural centres like the Recoleta Cultural Center and the Kirchner Cultural Center.

Interested in empathy, and working effectively with teams she likes to contribute with value and creativity. Believes in social change and working collaboratively.

Hani Nurlina

Youth Action Officer

Hani is an experienced strategic communication professional from Indonesia with an extensive background in working in NGOs and educational institutions, dealing with multistakeholders .

Having a deep curiousity to learn about different cultures and ways of thinking, she is convinced that two-way communication and mutual understanding are necessary to create a peaceful and harmonious society.

Being passionate about volunteering and serving others, she believes that simple actions taken today can significantly influence the future.
